Putting up a website is good.
Adding content on a regular basis is better.
But all that doesn’t matter if nobody reads it.
You already know that you can follow the newest updates
and some micro updates on my twitter feed.
As of today (August 4th, 2011) this feed has 6 followers.
Let’s try to increase that number, shall we?
I’ll try various techniques to get more followers
and will update this post now and then to let you know how it goes.
I’ll also try to stay on the legal side of the system,
so hacking into twitter is no option…
Update 1: (August 10th, 2011)
****One week later and I’m up to 21 followers.
How did I do it?
Simple. The old “just follow a bunch of random people and they’ll follow you back”-trick.
Well, I didn’t just follow random people.
I hand picked about 30 and added about 15 that they followed.
Now I have a better feed and more followers.
Can I reach 100 till next week?
Update 2: (August 19th, 2011)
Another week and I didn’t reach the targeted 100,
but I’m up to 56 now.
And I got the feeling that they are higher quality.
I’ll leave it at that for the time being and will start focusing on content again.
Now that somebody actually reads this the motivation should be better.
